The Mind Master's Memo

Episode 7: Failure, Fasting, and a Surprise!

Hey there Mind Master,

Hope you’re having a great end / start to your week. I’ve been working ‘double overtime’ the last couple weeks between my day job and building / writing / learning behind the scenes.

Anyway, are you ready to take your journey of self-actualization to the next level?

This action-packed edition of The Mind Master’s Memo has insights on why you should embrace failure, and the scary power of implementing an intermittent fasting schedule. Also, have an exciting surprise for you at the end.

Let’s get started!

Embracing Failure → The Path to Greatness

Success is stumbling from failure to failure with no loss of enthusiasm.

Winston Churchill

In a world that often glorifies success and downplays setbacks, failure can seem like a dirty word. I know, I’ve been there. And I’m sure you have too.

Feeling that failure is inevitable, or that you are a failure, is nothing other than you playing tricks on yourself. It’s all comes down to perspective:

When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

The reality is that failure is essential on the road to greatness.

Futhermore, the most successful people actually consider it an investment on their longer time-frame horizon. I’ve heard it labeled as ‘paying down ignorance tax’ and one of my favorite examples is Thomas Edison:

Inventor of the lightbulb, he came up with 10,000 ways not to make a lightbulb before his discovery. His 10,000 iterations to the discovery of a lifetime is how you’re able to have light indoors at night.

So, instead of fearing failure, you should embrace it as a strategy for growth.

Learn from each stumble, and use these lessons to propel yourself forward.

Discover the Power of Intermittent Fasting

What if you could wake up each morning feeling energized and focused?

Intermittent fasting, an ancient practice gaining modern recognition, can help you achieve this. I’ve dabbled with this and have found cutting off food 4 hours before bed and then delaying my first meal until about 10-11 am really lets me get a clean start to the day.

I recommend you try it, or a variation that would work better for your lifestyle. If you do, let me know how it goes for you!

When you align eating patterns with your body's natural rhythms, you can improve weight management, gut health, and cognitive function without restrictive the need for such diets.
